Walter Lee Qualkenbush was born February 4, 1945 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, the son of Rolla E. Qualkenbush and Ruth O. Combs. He married Milaine Merritt June 11, 1966 and from this union two children were born, Stephanie and Jason. He then married ? and from this union one child was born, Scott.

He served in the United States Air Force and was a concrete construction contractor.

He served as Master of Euclid Lodge in 1994 and 1995. He was also a member of Euclid Chapter No. 13, Royal Arch Masons and served as High Priest in 1993, 1994, and 1995.

He died September 14, 2010, in Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois. His body was cremated and the ashes scattered on the Pacific Ocean.
