William Heinrich Werner was born July 3, 1897 in Germany. He married Anna Rickert. He attended North Western College (North Central) in 1921 in the School of Commerce.

He was employed by the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company as an upholsterer and later as a purchasing agent.

He was raised a Master Mason December 11, 1922 and served as Master of the Lodge in 1939. He was also a member of Euclid Chapter No. 13, Royal Arch Masons.

He died February 15, 1975 in Hinsdale, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
