Edwin Gerald Rogers was born May 18, 1903 in Warrenville, DuPage County, Illinois the son of Pliny Edwin Rogers and Hattie Amanda Judd. He married Jennis S. ? about 1925 and they had no children. He married Charlotte K. ? and they had no children.

He was employed as a journeyman plumber and then as the Manager of the Steam Fitters Union Trust Fund in Los Angeles, California.

He was raised a Master Mason March 6, 1934 in Euclid Lodge and served as Master of the Lodge in 1940. He was also a member of Euclid Chapter No. 13, Royal Arch Masons.

He died April 17, 1992 in Sun City, Maricopa County, Arizona and was buried in the Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery.
