Allen Delbert Mowry was born April 8, 1892 in Tracy, Lyon County Minnesota the son of Delbert Mowry and Ada Madona Jontz. He married Gertrude Boecker November 16, 1916 and from this union they had three children, Clifford Allen, Elizabeth Caroline and Russell Dean. He was employed as a clerk for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, later as a manager of a mail order house in Waukegan, Illinios and then as the DuPage County Court House clerk with Judge Win Knoch. He was raised a Master Mason June 23, 1919 in Euclid Lodge and served the Lodge as Master in 1923. He also served as Secretary of the Lodge in 1948 and 1949. His son Russell Dean Mowry also became a member of the Lodge and his grandson Russell Wesley is currently a member of the Lodge. He died September 30, 1969 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery. |
