Leroy Henry Kline was born July 9, 1902 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois the son of John William Kline and Mary Lobina Moeller. He attended the Naperville schools and graduated from Northwestern College (North Central) in 1924 with a BA degree. He married Vera Charlotte Leppert October 29, 1930 and they had a daughter, Ruth. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Officer Reserve Corps in 1924. He was employed as a Cost Consultant for 43 years for the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company. He was an avid reader and bowler, loved to play bridge and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. He was raised a Master Mason April 25, 1925 in Euclid Lodge and served as Master of the Lodge in 1928. He died September 15, 2000 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery. |
