John Lefevre Eisele was born May 22, 1888 in Sterling, Whiteside County, Illinois the son of Frank E. Eisele and Mary Catherine Lefevre. He married Emma O. Rau in 1909 and they had four children, Lawrence Earl, Eugene Richard, John Charles and Jane K. All three sons became members of Euclid Lodge and his daughter Jane was a member of Althea Chapter No. 206, Order of Eastern Star and was married to Frank Karpin who was also a member of Euclid Lodge. He graduated from Sterling High School and went to work for the Eureka Buggy Factory as an upholsterer. He then came to Naperville and went to work for the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company as an upholsterer, later becoming the company’s official photographer. He was a commercial photographer for the Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company for more than 35 years. He affiliated with Euclid Lodge June 20, 1916 from Rock River Lodge No. 612, Sterling, Illinois. He served as the Master of Euclid Lodge in 1919 and 1926. He was also a member of Euclid Chapter No. 13, R. A. M. He died July 23, 1957 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery. |
