Sankey S. Good was born May 23, 1886 in Bernadotte, Fulton County, Illinois the son of Daniel P. Good and Clara Manbeck. He was the twin brother of Moody M. Good. He married Evelyn Thornton October 25, 1919 and they had a daughter, Emily Ann.

He was a postal employee, serving as a clerk, Assistant Postmaster and as Postmaster of Naperville. He served as a seaman in the Navy from 1904 to 1917 and also in the U.S. Army from 1917 to 1919.

He was a member of the American Legion, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and Floral Rebecca Lodge. He was raised a Master Mason October 10, 1910 in Euclid Lodge. He served as Master of the Lodge in 1916. He was also a member of Euclid Chapter No. 13, Royal Arch Masons and served as High Priest in 1920.

He died April 19, 1936 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
