SCHMIDT, Leonard Charles was born May 4, 1920 in Brazil, Clay County, Indiana, the son of Henry Frederick Schmidt and Clotilde Chevalier. He was a World War II veteran and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps. He married Ernestine Barth in 1940 and they were the parents of two sons, Mark Henry and Bart David. He was employed by the Illinois Bell Telephone Company as an equipment engineer. He affiliated with Euclid Lodge June 19, 1962 from Anchor Lodge No. 980, Danville, Illinois and served as Master of Euclid Lodge in 1968. He died December 11, 2009 in Seminole, Pinellas County, Florida and was buried in the Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, Pinellas County, Florida.
