James Frederick Cubbidge was born October 2, 1922 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois the son of Frederick William Cubbidge and Daisy Gertrude Daily. He married Grace Roskan December 2, 1983.

He was a Project Engineer for Bell Laboratories and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He affiliated with Euclid Lodge September 19, 1957 from D. C. Cregier Lodge No. 643, Chicago, Illinois. He served as Master of Euclid Lodge in 1966 and 1977.

He died October 23, 2003 in Woodstock, McHenry County, Illinois and was buried in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.
