Gustave Joseph Lindblad was born November 7, 1887 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, the son of  Gustave A. Lindblad and Ida M. Larson. He married Inez Etta Good and they had no children. Inez died in 1942 and he married Vora Ione May Frank in 1946 and they also had no children. He was the Brother-in-law of Sankey and Moody Good.

He was a freight solicitor, accountant and clerk for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.

He was raised as a Master Mason March 20, 1913 in Euclid Lodge and served as Master of the Lodge in 1918 and 1922. He also served Euclid Lodge as Senior Warden in 1917 and 1924, Junior Warden in 1916, Senior Deacon in 1915, Junior Deacon in 1914 and Marshal in 1924. He was also a member of  Euclid Chapter No. 13, R.A.M.

He died September 5, 1959 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and interment was made in the Naperville Cemetery.
